The first session is focused on reviewing intake paperwork to ensure Client's understanding. The Biopsychosocial Assessment is completed during this time to determine the client's overall history, presenting mental health issues and an initial treatment plan is developed.
Identify and process mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, life stressors, sex offender specific issues, etc. utilizing treatment plan goals. Traditional talk therapy. Eclectic therapeutic approach such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Trauma Focused CBT, Person Centered Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy, Relapse Prevention Model, etc.

For adults to discuss topics related to anger management and healthy relationship development, social anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, etc. Group facilitator provides psychoeducation on either of these group topics, facilitates the group. Group members provide social support to one another while acting as accountability partners.
Facilitating clinical interview, battery of assessment tools (i.e., Sexual Adjustment Inventory, Trauma Symptom Checklist, Bumby Cognitive Distortions List, etc.), review of testing results, and psychosexual report.
Completing Documents (ie Disability, FMLA, Emotional Support Animals, and writing monthly reports for community based agencies, Monthly reports for P.O.s or social workers, bariatric surgery, etc.) for a fee.
4 hour training on parents learning how to effectively co-parent after divorce or ending a relationship who have children. Training focuses on managing emotions, effective communication, parenting styles, grief and loss, and so on. Certificate of completion is provided at the end of the training once the evaluation is completed and submitted to the facilitator.
During the session there is one identified client and the counselor utilizes family counseling approaches to treat the family participants.
I provide clinical supervision as requested by the VA Board of Counseling for those master level clinicians who are wanting to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia. Additionally, as requested by the VA Board of Psychology, I provide clinical supervision to those clinicians wanting to become certified as a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP). $100 per hour per individual supervision for both services. $75 per hour per group supervision per participant.
